My Opinion on the Lieberman/Lamont Primary

Thursday, August 10th, 2006

I think the whole thing is a bunch of malarkey.  I think it is crazy that so many right of center commentators are bending over backwards in support of Lieberman.  The only difference between Lamont and Lieberman, as far as I can tell, is their stance on Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Good for joe that he supports it, but he is just as liberal as they come when it comes to everything else.

I also don’t think Lamont winning is a  big deal either. There are so many right wing blogs and stuff saying that this is representative that the extreme left is taking over the mainstream democrat party.  That might be the case in Connecticut, but there are 50 more states and Massachusetts is the only other state I can think of that fully embraces far left wing ideaology, as far as senators are concerned.  I’ll save my judgement for later when more one issue senators are in office.  So what if the extreme left takes over the democrat party , its their funeral.

My solution:  It is not my place to tell people what to write or who to vote for, but at the very least I say right wingers need to let the democrats take care of themselves and quit defending a liberal.

Michelle Malkin’s Netroots vs. Rightroots

Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006

Check out “Michelle Malkin’s Essential List Of Links and More.” post on her site via digg.

The post is primarily in regards to an inflamitory photo posted at the huffington post depicting Joe Lieberman with the notorious “blackface.” The left never ceases to amaze. I am curious what Lamont has to say about beheviour like this.

While you’re at it check out dgg.com. It makes blogging easy and there are lots of cool articles on there.
