Two Face

One of my favorie movies growing up was the original Batman film with Michael Keaton.  In this particular incantation of the Batman franchise the character Harvey Dent is played by Billy Dee Williams, famous for his role as Lando Calrissian.

In all of the fictional series Harvey Dent is Gotham City’s district attorney.  Afte being burned by acid Harvey has a physchotic breakdown and is criminal known as Two Face.

Yesterday the Supreme court affirmed DC vs Heller, a monumentous decision that solidifies the individual right to bear arms.  Given the election year Obama and McCain offered their thoughts.

What does Two Face have to do with this?  Well, after I watched the following video, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the fictional character in his Billy Dee William’s portrayed form, a prominent attorney turned evil.

He is looking more and more lioke Kerry. Or is he just being a typical all things to all people lib?

Anyway at the convention I think they need to break out the flip flops again.

I think Obama’s shift to the center may be a little premature. After all, he still hasn’t received the Democratic Party nomination.

Trying to be all things to all people has raised the ire of some of his most left-leaning supporters, as documented at PTS and jobsanger.

If the flip-flops get too problematic, the superdelegates may have to take matters into their own hands and choose someone else. On one level, I’d hate to see that happen (Obama could self-destruct by November), but on another level, it could be just the kind of chaos needed for a GOP victory.

I’m not that crazy about McCain, but an inexperienced leftist with the power to nominate two Supreme Court justices of like mind is unacceptable.

LOL, I doubt that, these are democrats we are talking about.

They may be Democrats with a capital D, but the superdelegate system proves that they’re certainly not democrats with a small d.

As far as the superdelegates overriding the will of the rank and file at the convention, a guy can hope, can’t he? I’m old enough to remember Chicago in 1968. Boy oh boy, what a summer of discontent that was!

Will it happen? To be honest, I think it’s pretty doubtful at this point. After all, this is the party that nominated George McGovern and Michael Dukakis.

I don’t care for mcCain either. On another site I posted that he is much like a bi-sexual. You never know which way he is going to go each day.

But still he is far preferable to Obama. To me this election is just another example of America going down the drain. We know he will not be able to carry out much of his agenda, not even Democrats will vote on anything that will kill jobs in their own state, but still he wcould damage us beyond repair.

This election is so orchrestrated. The most liberal of liberals on one side and the republican most likely to lose on the other.
