Sex is like model airplane glue - it can be used to bind a marriage together or repair the broken pieces; or it can be used for something it was never intended - to get high, often with tragic and unintended consequences. There's a lot of <a href="http://www.psychiatric-disorders.com/articles/substance-abuse/inhalant-abuse.php" rel="nofollow">"huffing"</a> going on out there, and not all of it by liberals. I was thinking about the latest revelations about Spitzer and McGreavy, and something occurred to me that I’d thought of before.

Sex is like model airplane glue – it can be used to bind a marriage together or repair the broken pieces; or it can be used for something it was never intended – to get high, often with tragic and unintended consequences.

There’s a lot of “huffing” going on out there, and not all of it by liberals.

I think the reason that so many liberals are either unable or unwilling to do this is because for many of them politics is their religion. One need only look back to the despair expressed over the results of the 2004 election and the elation over the results of the 2006 election to see how invested many are in political (as opposed to spiritual) salvation.
