Oh wait, consider making the republican party illegal.
Read this 10 point plan by Michael D. Rectenwald, Ph.D. Most notable are points 5, 7 and 9:
5. After cooling the Republicans by arresting most of them and shutting their stupid mouths forever, start working on reversing Global Warming.
7. Remove all the “Justices” put in place by the Bush clan, including on the Supreme Court.
9. Consider the possibility that the Republican ideology contravenes the Constitution because its policies and beliefs endanger the well-being of the people. Consider making the Republican Party illegal.
All of the other points I don’t mind because they aren’t that extreme or extremely unheard of. Sure they are ill-thought out garbage, but disagreeing with bush and attempting to repeal laws you disagree with and pass laws you do agree with isn’t unheard of.
Seriously, could you image if democrat leaders proclaimed the Republican party illegal and threw anyone who was a Republican in jail? Could you imagine if democrat leaders removed supreme court justices from their posts? These comments come from someone who probably claims to be in the “reality based” community. How many other leftists think the same thing but are too afraid to say it?
Is there any need to point out the historical significance of making the organizations that disagree with you illegal and throwing the members of those organizations in jail? Or how about throwing out all of the officials that disagree with your politics?
Please note I am not calling this guy un-American, un-patriotic, or saying he should be hanged for treason. No, he has every right to be this dumb.
Since Bo posted the original 10-point plan, the good Dr. Rectenwald has posted a “Redux and Explanation”. Having received “a fair number of death threats from militant right-wingers” (how convenient to be able to claim victimhood), he apparently felt compelled to explain points 9 and 10 in greater depth (Sorry, no further explanation of points 5 and 7).
His reasoning for making the Republican Party illegal? I’ll let you read it for yourselves, but it has to do with the GOP’s official or unofficial stances on Global Warming (hm, where have I heard that before?) and promoting a permanent state of war.
In this supplemental diatribe, Rectenwald also explains that “[t]his list was always only more of a ‘wish list’ than a list of real imminent possibilities.” Translation: academic masturbation.
If you’d like to learn more about Michael D. Rectenwald, Ph.D., here’s his Curriculum Vitae. It may be interesting to note that but his academic discipline is English Literature, the same as Spacedark. Pure coincidence? Perhaps.
Oops! That first link didn’t work. Here’s a permanent link to the Redux and Explanation.
[...] This is nothing new for leftists and is just one characteristic of their behavior. If you don’t march lockstep with their beliefs you are not worthy to live and should be locked up until you die. [...]
